Personal
Charles has been a cottager in Lake of Bays for twenty years and believes in strong communities. Charles has been a Volunteer Firefighter in LOB, Co-founder of the Dwight Winter Pantry (local Food Bank), a local Business Owner and past President of the Tasso, Toad, Blue and Camp Lake Cottagers Association,
Charles has two daughters that grew up on Tasso lake and continue to enjoy the beauty of this area and its close proximity to Algonquin Park
2022 Platform
Charles' goal is to improve the roads, enhance the community and eliminate the two tiered local government structure.
You as a ratepayer deserve better, that includes stewardship of existing resources, personal accountability and financial discipline

Political
Charles is not a member of any political party but has a very centered view of the world. The environment and its future trajectory is very important and has to be addressed in a manner that is impactiful and sustainable while balancing the current economical and social realities.
Charles believes elected officials need to listen to the ratepayers (regardless of how they voted) and be accountable to everyone to ensure the best governance to all.
